Office hours for June 08, 2017

Okay, two things.

First, for this week's office hours, see last week.

Second, the deadline for finishing all your work will be extended, but I'm not yet sure how long. I will post an official new deadline (and new office hour schedule) after office hours tomorrow.

Oddly, the more people get done tomorrow the more the deadline will be extended (in other words, the pressure is still on).

Office hours May 10, 2017

I will have office hours on May 10, in 209b from 12.00 to 14.00 (maybe longer if lots of people show up) academic presentations have precedence, of course.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT AND OFFICE HOURS

IMPORTANT NOTICE


I have been informed that I cannot allow students who have not finished their work by Tuesday, June 14 into the exam on June 15.

Therefore you must finish all three written assignments by 15.30 Tuesday, June 14 or you will not be allowed into the written exam on Wednesday June 15 (or the oral exams on June 16-17).

If you do not finish the written assignments you will have to take the make-up exam in September.

To facilitate your being able to take the test now, I'm scheduling the following office hours.

Friday, June 10: 12:30 – 15:00

Monday June 13: 12.00-14.30

Tuesday June 14: 12.00-15.30

You should bring any work on a pendrive so that you can make changes and get them printed.

(nb do not use the copy place on the ground floor as their computer tends to mess up the spacing).

Also make sure all work is double spaced in Times New Roman 12pt and that the word count is below your name in the upper right hand corner of the first page. I will not look at work that does not meet these formatting guidelines.

Class Materials for April 07, 2016

Okay, a programming note...

That is, from 10.00 until 13.00 I will be having

Office hours will be in either 209b or 314b (look for the lines!)

Anyone from either group who shows up tomorrow with an outline for your academic presentation

or an essay

will receive an extra attendance credit!

This is contingent on no one coming and making me do whatever thing is they have planned....
